VividWorks 3D product configurator documentation
VividWorks 3D product configurator is a cloud based product configuration and visualization software enabling the manufacturers, retailers, and others to sell more efficiently and with confidence online using high quality real-time visualization. It provides full visibility and control to product rules and assets, and product life-time cycle, giving you the possibility to handle everything yourself.
The configurator consists of three main components; the management UI, the planner and the API back-end.
The API is where most of the magic happens, containing and executing product rules and other data. As a customer you get access to our API by default and can integrate any custom tools or systems to it directly. This gives you the flexibility to make custom and complex integrations without having to ask VividWorks do it.
The management UI is the user's window to all the product data and what is going on in the configurator. Here you would maintain the products and their life-cycle, configure product rules, define known product configurations, publish your application, do localizations, and so forth.
The planner is the end-user visible part of the configurator, and your products. The planner can be embedded on any website and parametrized to show certain product or product configuration, giving the end-user all the configuration options defined for the products.
