Introduction to Environments

Each Product Library has it's own settings for the scene environment. The scene environment defines scene background, lighting conditions and information that will be needed for calculating reflections from surfaces that reflect light. These settings help highlight the product under configuration with utmost realism.

You can have many environment variants configured and test and release the version you find most acceptable to be used on the planner as default. Only one active environment can be selected for now.

The default environment is neutral and focuses on the product under configuration. It is generally suited for showcasing any configurable product, but there can be special products where the environment might need adjustments.
